Pirelli’s Corporate Governance is based on: (i) the centrality of the Board of Directors, which directs the strategy and oversees all the activities of the company; (ii) the central role of the independent directors (iii) an efficient system of internal controls; (iv) a proactive risk management system; (v) a system that remunerates managers, in general, and incentivises them, in particular, for medium to long term financial objectives synchronising the interests of management and shareholders, prioritising sustainable, medium-term value creation; (vi) a robust code of conduct for transactions with related parties.
